The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
